My first experience in the university was stressful. I arrived at school late, so, I had to catch up with the lectures I missed. I also had a very big problem during my first week and that was, finding the locations of my classes. There were sometimes I almost cried because I was looking for where my classes was.

But now, I'm used to everything. I have also made many friends from different countries. The university is a really nice place to be and I'm looking forward to seeing better days.

Miriams First Impression Of the University.

When i got into the University, i thought to myself thinking out loud how i would be able to find my way through this very big place . I called it "Oxford street". and then my biggest problem was how to locate my classes, i also had a problem with my accomodation because my room was too small.
The registration wasnt too stressful which i was happy about ,considering the number of students that had to register. I had things going easy for me after a while thanks to my friend who had been here for a year already, Juliet.
My excitement was with the town centre, i love it there and now im findng living in colchester alot fun especially during the weekends. But i cant get used to waking up by 9am and walking all the way to the university seeing that i live in quays.
So far it gets better and am having a nice time.

First Impressions

I quite like this Univeristy sometimes, but there are other times it annoys me, When i first got to this University, i liked the environment, conducive for learning, some of the students were nice if not all, Lecturers, and Tutors do their absolute best to help you when, you need it. The only problem I have with this University, is the fact that it is big, meaning i have to WALK alot, and i get LOST!!! I dont do well when I am lost, but besides that the school is good

l came to the university of Essex on the 1st of October, when the taxi dropped me off at North towers I was kind of impressed with the height of the towers and it was a unique kind of accommodation because I expected all the student accommodation buildings to be just like the keys and South courts. I asked people I saw around for directions to the international academy. It was difficult for me to find it, I wore a t-shirt and trousers, I knew England would be cold but not this cold! For 2 hours I was looking for the international academy and the cold was dealing with me severely. Guess what! when I finally found it on the door I saw one word '' closed '' i was like what the hell, I was so angry! l got over my anger and went outside to the taxi rank at North towers. l saw some taxis parked by the rank, I went towards one and told him were I was going, he said he was waiting for someone, so I was like OK. l walked over to the next taxi and asked him if he was free,he said he wasn't. There were only two there at the time so I waited for another 20 minutes till I saw another one, while I was waiting the cold was still entering! I walked over to the guy, he was Chinese, I asked him if he was going? he asked me if I had called for a taxi? I said no, then he said I should call for one that all the taxis coming are booked, l was like why didn't all those other taxi drivers tell me! I have been waiting here for nothing! The Chinese guy gave me their card and I called the taxi. Before the taxi got there it took like 10 minutes. l was so relieved I was leaving the uni, it was a stressful and funny day.

My first impression

My first impressions here have been very exciting, i really looked foward to coming here and when i did, it was all i expected. I live in mathews quays, my room is dope and i love it. Before today the weather was not so bad, now its getting cooler each day and im not loving it as much anymore. Essex as a uni is great, and i look foward to better days here.
